Blue Clay & Indigo Leaf Soothing Face Mask Review

When I first got the jar, I was initially taken back by the size. It’s a 60ml jar which retails at £10. I thought to myself that it wouldn’t last very long but how wrong I was. You only need a thin layer on the skin, and a little goes a long way. The jar contains approx 25-30 applications which is great.

The face mask comes ready to apply straight from the jar. It contains plant glycerine so it keeps my skin moisturized whilst doing its job. I often find clay masks dry my skin out a tad so, this mask was a pleasant experience. No tight feeling skin when washing this mask off, hurrah!

On the jar, the directions say that it can be used daily. Of course, I gave it a whirl, and let me tell you, my skin never felt so good. I noticed that my usual dry patches cleared up and that redness and inflammation from breakouts went down much quicker than normal.

Final Thoughts

The blue clay and indigo leaf face mask is definitely one of my top 3 favourites. I love how my skin looks and feels after using it, and that it can be used daily if you want. I’m really impressed with how many applications you can get from one jar and feel like it’s excellent value for money. I can see why it won ‘Best Natural Face Mask’ at the Beauty Shortlists Awards 2017.

Bloomtown Botanicals encourage customers to reduce waste by returning their jars in exchange for a reward. It’s clear to me that they are a caring, eco-conscious brand.

Even if you don’t have sensitive skin, I’d still recommend trying this out. Your skin will thank you.

If I was in the UK I’d totally give this a try! It looks really nice, like a very light, whipped mask. I know the blue clay would be great for my skin too, there’s a Herbivore Botanicals mask with blue clay that my skin loves. Maybe if we do a product swap one day I’ll ask for this one hehe!
