Wild Earth Beauty Green Skincare Review

Wild Earth Beauty (formerly Premium Indulgence) is a UK based retailer that sells Green Skincare. It’s run by a lady called Louise who used to be an Oncology Nurse. Through her profession, Louise met many people with breast cancer. After reading up reports about the possible connection between breast cancer and the aluminium in anti perspirants, she became interested in better alternatives. It was during her pregnancy that really kick started Louise into looking at what’s in our everyday skincare. Louise often found it difficult to find stores that sold beautiful artisan products, and clearly listed ingredients in their products. And so, she started Wild Earth Beauty.

I was sent two pamper/gift type boxes – one called the flip flop box and the other called the sun care box. Below is my review of each.

The Flip Flop Box

Green Skincare for beautifully soft feet

The flip flop box is designed for pampering your feet and getting them ready for showing off in sandals and flip flops. In this box you get:

  • Maggie Anne Nail Polish
  • Fresh Therapies Nourishing Nail Elixir
  • Fresh Therapies Nail Polish Remover Wipes
  • Isla Apothecary Lemongrass and Rosemary Renew Foot Scrub
  • Lucky Cloud Soothing Body Balm (not pictured – featured in the sun care box below)

All of these items were picked for the box to get your feet looking and feeling beautiful.

Maggie Anne Nail Polish – I got the shade called Grace but you can request a different shade should you wish. It’s a ‘6 free’ nail polish which means it’s free from 6 of the toxic chemicals that are found in nail polish (Dibutyl Phthalate (DBP), Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, Camphor and THTP). They’re also vegan and cruelty free.

The nail polish was super easy to apply and didn’t streak at all. It dried quickly and lasted 5 days before it started to chip.

Fresh Therapies Nourishing Nail Elixir & Wipes – the nail elixir is organic and vegan. It’s made from Jojoba oil, Apricot oil, Neroli essential oil and Frankincense essential oil. Let me tell you, it is divine! A little goes a long way and nourishes both my cuticles and the nail.

The nail polish remover wipes are free from acetone and alcohol. They’re also leaping bunny certified. I find them really gentle on my nails yet super effective. They have a lovely scent and are handy for traveling.

Isla Apothecary Foot Scrub – this organic foot scrub is fantastic. I’ve used products from Isla Apothecary before, so I knew this would be a great product. The epsom salts are really great at removing dead skin, whilst the other ingredients deodorise and moisturise the skin.

My feet feel and look amazing after using this. The cracked skin on my heels look much better and my skin feels super soft.

The Sun Care Box

Natural mineral sunscreen for eco friendly suncare

Much like the flip flop box, this one has been designed with a purose; sun and skin care. In this box you get:

  • Odylique Natural Sun Cream SPF30
  • Lucky Cloud Body Balm or PHB Restore Gel Aloe Vera
  • Lucky Cloud Coconut Lip Balm

These products have been picked to protect your skin from the sun and also nourish it.

Odylique Natural Sun Cream – this sun cream has an SPF30 and is a broad spectrum UVA and UVB. It contains antioxidants to fight free radicals and is perfect for sensitive skin. This suncream is free from silicone and nanoparticles. It also doesn’t contain any artificial fragrances, filters, colours or preservatives.

I did find that the sun cream has a slight white tinge to it but once applied this fades. Once applied it dries down so it’s not sticky or tacky. I first wore this on my trip to Weleda, visiting their HQ and gardens. I didn’t burn at all and my skin felt really lovely.

Lucky Cloud Body Balm – this organic body balm is handmade in Scotland and contains wonderful ingredients like Calendula Oil, Shea Butter, and Cocoa Butter.

This balm is perfect for irritated and scarred skin. It also happens to smell so good! Good enough that I want to eat it. I really love using this on my hands, elbows and my feet. It’s perfect for wet wrapping overnight. with cotton gloves or socks.

Lucky Cloud Coconut Lip Balm – made with cocoa butter and coconut butter, this lip balm is a real treat for the lips. Like the body balm, it smells amazing.

The lip balm is super easy to apply. It combats any dryness or chapping, leaving super soft lips. The blend is quite soft, so you may want to refridgerate in the summer.

Final Thoughts

I thoroughly enjoyed all of the products in both boxes. I have only one complaint, and that’s just the lip balm being a little melty when the temperate was hot. But it was an easy fix by popping it into the fridge.

If you’re looking for a gift for someone, or even as a treat for yourself then I would definitely recommend these pamper boxes from Wild Earth Beauty.

Wild Earth Beauty also sells products separately and has a really lovely selection of skin and hair care from brands such as PHB ethical beauty, MOA, Evolve Organic Beauty, Mallow + White and many more.

Would you try one of these pamper boxes?
