Earth Conscious Launch A New Stick Deodorant

It’s no secret that Earth Conscious is my favourite natural deodorant. So when Angela and I got talking about her launching a stick, I could barely contain my excitement (what can I say, I’m easily pleased). It feels like forever that we’ve been waiting for this stick deodorant to launch, and it’s finally here!

Earth Conscious Stick Deodorant

Although the formula for the Earth Conscious deodorant in the tins is amazing, some people aren’t keen about applying with their fingers. So, Angela decided to remedy that by launching this new stick. I’ve been testing out a couple of samples and I can say that the sticks are fantastic.

Application – super simple, just pop the cap off and push up the stick enough to just expose the deodorant. Then just swipe the stick across the underarm. I find that two passes of the stick is enough. Ta-da! All done. Applying a natural deodorant couldn’t be easier!

This awesome new stick deodorant is still organic, vegan, cruelty free, plastic free and eco friendly.

Where To Buy The Earth Conscious Stick Deodorant

So excited for this deodorant, I’ve been looking into this brand for a while but prefer roll on deodorants.

I’ve been aware how much plastic my family use and have started to carry a water bottle everywhere with me, and also have a reusable bag in my car and handbag. It’s already made such a noticeable difference to our plastic usage.

I’ve switched to a stainless steel drinking carton. So much better than the plastic bottles I used to use.

I have been using a reusable water bottle and sandwich box for some time now and love using my canvas shopping bag. I hate the fact that many large things come wrapped in plastic. Recently got a new mattress which was wrapped in a plastic film so I decided to use it as a propogator cover for some of my new vegetable plants I now have some courgettes flowering and can’t wait to taste them.

One of the ways we try to reduce plastic waste has been to stop buying vegetables in packaging, so only buy lose vegetables. It’s ridiculous that carrots are sold in plastic bags!

My top tipS for reducing plastic consumption would have to be get reusable Produce bags for veggies, buy in bulk where ever possible, support the brands that are making the effort to reduce plastics and refuse single use plastics when out and about.
Love the idea of a paper push up deo!

Oooh, this sounds so good. I’m almost out of my roll on and I’ve started looking for deodorant with better packaging, but I like the ease of something like a roll on so this sounds perfect.

Looks interesting, I don’t like the idea of the tins either but I haven’t had much luck with natural deodorants yet so I’m still hunting for the one!

This is cool! Do you know much about how eco aluminium is? Because I’ve heard that aluminium factories are insanely energy intensive, which makes me wonder if we should be looking for alternatives to plastic aand aluminium if possible?

None of the disposable packaging is all that environmentally friendly.

Plastics use oil and the refining process is polluting. And plastic waste is a huge problem because it gets in the ocean and takes so long to break down.

Aluminum uses bauxite from mines and requires a lot of electricity to refine, and the process is also polluting. Once it’s trashed it’s not really harmful, but it’s a big waste to put it in the dump due to the refining costs.

Glass is better in terms of producing the containers and being a natural material, but they’re much heavier and so take more fuel to transport.

Paper is more eco friendly since it can be sourced from renewable tree farms and such and breaks down easily, but it only works for some products.

The key to eco friendly plastic/aluminum is recycling. I remember reading somewhere that you can make more than 20 recycled cans with the same power it takes to make one can from bauxite.
