I’m a huge fan of baths and relaxing in one to soothe muscles and help me unwind. Light a few candles, add some bath salts into the water and just B-R-E-A-T-H-E.
I really enjoy creating my own skin care and bath products. Especially when trying to lead a zero waste lifestyle – there’s something extremely satisfying about using up scraps that you’d usually throw out, and turning them into something special. Bath salts make for a luxurious treat for yourself, or as a gift for friendly and family. View Post
Christmas is a wonderful time of year, where we all gather to exchange gifts and enjoy time together. And whilst it’s a lovely time of year, it is also incredibly wasteful; from the copious amounts of wrapping paper to gifts that aren’t really ethical or eco-friendly.
I’m all about putting a lot of thought into a gift that I know will be loved, whether it’s something I buy or make. It’s really important to me that items I gift will last, are useful and/or can also encourage a greener lifestyle.
Making gifts is a favourite thing of mine, but not everyone has the time, the skill or knows where to begin. So I’ve put together a Christmas gift guide of items ranging from natural skin care to items that’ll help your giftee live a little greener. The items listed are things we’ve personally used as a family, or that have come highly recommended from friends. Enjoy!

During my period, I always feel like I need a bit of cheering up. I enjoy pampering myself, eating yummy snacks and occasionally receiving a little treat.
The lovely folks at Earthwise have created a couple of ‘Monthly Gift‘ boxes, for people like me who enjoy a bit of TLC and surprise treats.

It’s that time of year again when you vote for your favourite bloggers in the UK Blog Awards. I’ve been blessed to have been a finalist for the past 2 years.
Earlier this year my blog got some recognition and was named ‘Highly Commended’ at the awards ceremony for my category. It was a huge shock, and totally unexpected. For me, just being a finalist was enough. I never once thought I could go further and be named Highly Commended. If it hadn’t been for you lovelies nominating and then voting for me, I’d never have gotten through to judging. So THANK YOU to each and every one of you. View Post
If you told me 5 years ago that I’d be raving about my menstrual cup, and talking openly about my period, I’d have said you were barmy. It seems strange now looking back and realizing how much I’ve changed.
4 Reasons I Love My Menstrual Cup
1) It saves me money: a menstrual cup costs anywhere from £9-£30 depending on the brand. However, that’s a purchase that will last you around 10 years depending on you looking after it. It’s a big saving! View Post
